National Mills Open Day - Sunday 15th May - 10.30am to 4.30pm
We will be delighted to welcome you to this poular event where you can see the fantastic progress that has been made to the mill restoration. As well as seeing the work in progress, you will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of The Little Egypt Morris Men and the spectacular bicycles presented by The Long Sutton Vintage Cycle Club.
There will also be the usual high standard of refreshments and you can have a go on the Tombola and try your luck in the raffle. There will be delicious home baking, preserves and plants, as well as crafts and a few extras.
Threshing Day - Sunday 21st August - 10.30am to 4.30pm
This is our fifth annual threshing day, and it will be held in the field opposite the Mill thanks to the generosity of the friendly farmer, who is allowing us to use the land once the corn has been cut. Come and see the corn being threshed using steam power, just as it would have been a hundred years ago. Refreshments and freshly baked bread will be available at the mill.
The Mill will be open all weekend and we will be serving teas and refreshments on Sunday 13th.
Heritage Weekend Art Exhibition - Saturday/Sunday 10th/11th September.
This popular event takes place this weekend and promises to be as varied and as interesting as ever. The Tithe Barn will be full of wonderful paintings and crafts by prominent local artists for your enjoyment. You will be able to purchase any painting that takes your eye at a reasonable cost. Painting and craft demonstrations will run during the weekend and there will be delicious refreshments available on both days. This eventis a great favorite and well worth a visit.
